登入 Joe McNally 的 blog，看到一個令人黯然的消息； 美國 Rock n’ Roll 及 爵士樂攝影大師 Jim Marshall 於本月二十三日星期二在紐約逝世。由於事出突然所以未有準備太多有關這位專長拍攝 Rock n’ Roll 及爵士樂音樂人的攝影師。他可以形容為 Henri Cartier Bresson 後另外一位抓拍大師，無巧不成話他也是一位超級 Leica M 機使用者。
他最為人所認識的形象是身上卦上了從不對調鏡頭的五部 Leica M 機，他堅信每部相機規格都略有不同，一旦匹配上相稱的鏡頭便不再把它除下，加上他絕大部份拍攝都是音樂會現場，更不容有時間更換鏡頭，所以一身 Leica 的他便成為一個’生招牌’！
雖然我這個 post 只是短短數行，也未有準備很多 Jim 的作品，但我希望大家能在找尋器上嘗試找他，發掘一下這位攝影大家的作品。
