sorry to feedback so late, as your blog is fire-walled in China, for reasons you better apprehand for your safety sake before it's too late!!! On the technical side, the lighting is a masterstroke!
I love this photo. It's very 'Central', very us, a hub of wandering hearts.
Technically, I'm impressed by the composition and the lighting; but even more, by the emotion and the anxiety alerted by the front man. He is very typical of a wandering heart at the heart of one of the financial hearts of the world. Just ordinary, no legend. However, they are at the core to turn the city day after day, time after time.
Nevertheless, the man at the back with his body gesture and uncomportable eyesight draws me away from the mood of the photo, and stops my imagination right there. For me, he's alienated.
This photo plunges me, definitely not for leisure. City life, or to be more exact, financial centre city life, a blessing or what -- especially for a man keeps on walking for an unknown destiny long enough.
Hi Charles,
Thank you for your comment. It is such a coincident to have captured this image. I was waiting for my assistant that morning and was attracted by the reflection of the sunlight. Then people pass by and the way their body broke up the reflection turned into an interesting patten. The two gentlemen each behave their own way was unexpected. I was lucky enough to took the shot and share with others.
